God almighty, if there wasn’t already good enough evidence as to why you should absolutely not do your make-up in a moving vehicle there is now.
You know how sometimes you’re drinking a bottle or can, or just rolling a cig, on a train/bus/taxi? And you’re like ‘wooooah now, take it a easy driver’? Imagine that, but while using eyeliner. Imagine that awkward bump that loses your balance and concentration, and then it increase it tenfold.
That’s what happened to one girl in Thailand over the weekend.
The unnamed passenger, in her 20s, was sitting in the back of a cab in Bangkok applying some eyeliner, when they crashed into a pick-up truck, throwing the poor girl forward, piercing the pencil into her left eye.
It goes without saying here folks that the following picture isn’t exactly a Monet painting:
Grim, yeah? But check this out. According to paramedics, the stick missed the vital parts of her eye that would blind her and thus her sight remains unaffected.

The crash happened at 5.20pm in Din Daeng area of Bangkok while the lady was putting on make-up on her way out for the evening.
We received a call and there was one injured female with an eyebrow pencil inserted into her left eye.
She was in a lot of pain when we came but she could still talk to us and explain what happened. There was not a lot of blood but she had a small nose bleed.
The rescue team and the doctors did a great job to help the victim.
This should be a warning to women who do their make-up while cars are still running because accidents can always happen.
This was a strange accident and unexpected but nobody can predict these incidents. We have to be prepared.
The girl was still conscious when medics arrived. She was quickly taken off to Rajavithi Hospital where the pencil was promptly removed.
People on social media were super supportive of the woman…….. NOT! But seriously, there were plenty of I-told-you-so’s knocking about.

As I say to my wife as her make up bag flies all over the passenger seat, well, theres a time and place for doing make up and it’s not in a moving car.
Amount of women I see on trains doing their make up in the mornings. I’m always amazed they never have a mishap.
The moral of the story here folks is, well, very simple. Well, actually it’s not. We can’t go around wagging the finger at someone who got injured in a car-crash that she wasn’t at the helm of.
If I roll a cig on the bus and the driver decides to crash into a truck and the cig goes in my eye is that my fault or is it just the gnarliest way of ingesting tobacco? Probably neither.
Think that’s rough? This is the moment a rescue mission went horribly wrong, with footage showing a helicopter crashing, flipping over and slicing a man to death.
The tragic accident took place in Colombia and shows the very moment a simple rescue mission goes absolutely awry.
It was meant to be picking up a group of stranded technicians who’s own helicopter went down a week before due to technical issues in a rural part of Colombia’s southwestern Cauca District.
According to MailOnline, the first helicopter was carrying valuable equipment when it went down, which is why the second helicopter was sent out.
Prior to the fatal incident, the pilot had made four successful trips back and forth, but it was on the fifth trip when the accident occurred.
Makes you not want to leave the house really.
