To all the wannabe plant parents out there, what’s the one thing stopping you from keeping some green, lush indoor plants at your home? I think that’s having to care for it daily, water it & learn gardening. But today I’ll share a list of greens that don’t require much attention, as they only need watering once a month, & they remain young & fresh forever.

Houseplants are never a burden when you have the right resources & plant care that fit your schedule. These indoor plants enhance your house decor & bring in a positive environment. Keeping indoor plants at home can reduce stress immensely & help create natural greenery of your own inside the house. Let’s dive in:

1.Spider Plants

Chlorophytum comosum, also called the spider plant, is one of the easiest plants to take care of. It has quick growth & thrives with little attention. What’s great? It asks for little investment and occasional watering, enough for it to stay alive. One of the best indoor plants to keep at your home.

It has narrow leaves & long trailing stems, it is a natural air purifier (an additional bonus) that reduces pollutants & helps you stay healthy.

2. Red-Prayer Plant

This plant is really beautiful in appearance; it has oval-shaped leaves with red coloured veinings on them. A crazy fact about these plants is that the leaves fold themselves at night, like joining hands in prayer.

These prefer moist soil, but not soggy. You can water it simply once or twice a week.

3. Aloe Plant

Think of it as a healing indoor houseplant, which is also a popular ingredient in skincare products. Women also prefer using raw aloe vera freshly plucked from the plant to apply to their skin. Not only does it have skin benefits, but multiple health advantages like purifying the air.

It is medically proven to heal burns & any problems related to the skin. Make sure to put your plant in a tall pot that will help keep the leaves off the table. This requires minimal maintenance & care.

4. Jade Plant

Known as Crassula ovata, Jade plants bring prosperity & luck with them. It needs very minimal maintenance, like watering every few days & indirect sunlight. They are extremely durable and need less water when the soil feels dry.

5. Bird Of Paradise

7. Strings Of Pearls

Keeping this plant will add beauty to your room naturally. It’s an easy, quick-growing, pretty plant which requires watering of two to three weeks. Soil should be misted at best and not really wet. While the plant is toxic to cats & dogs, your little ones will always be near it, admiring its beauty.

8. Chinese Evergreen

This is my personal trouble-free indoor plant. There are a few conditions you need to take care of, & you’re done for this plant.  It only needs watering every 5 to 10 days (watch out for soggy soil) and low to bright indirect sunlight to keep it intact.

Plus point, it comes in various color categories that adorn your house decor.

9. Asparagus Fern

This fern thrives beautifully in indirect light and can easily grow in low-light corners. It’s a perfect addition to kitchen spaces, bringing a refreshing touch of greenery while helping purify the air. With its delicate, feathery leaves, the Asparagus Fern adds lush texture and natural charm to any interior.
