It’s mission over for K.C. Undercover!
After first hinting that K.C. Undercover would be “probably” be coming to a close with season three during an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this summer, Zendaya has confirmed that the show is in fact ending. The 21-year-old actress took to Twitter on Friday (Sept. 30) to announce that it was her last day on set of the Disney Channel series, and we can feel the emotion through her tweets.
“Currently filming our last scene of KC Undercover….” Zendaya tweeted before posting the perfect emojis to capture the sad moment.
“,” she added, and fans are crying with her!
And in case there was any confusion as to whether Zendaya may have meant “last scene” of the season, the actress made sure to follow up her tweets with a definitive “…and that’s a series wrap!”.
For fans of Zendaya, this isn’t just saying goodbye to her character on K.C. Undercover, K.C. Cooper — a high school wiz kid, black belt, and amazing spy — it’s saying farewell to an actress they’ve grown up watching for years.

Zendaya started her Disney Channel career (and career as an actress in general) as Rocky Blue on Shake It Up! back in 2010, alongside Bella Thorne, before moving on to K.C. Undercover in 2015. Although Zendaya won’t be a Disney Channel staple once the series airs the second half of season 3 beginning next month, she will always be a Disney darling.
The good news is there are still episodes to come from K.C. Undercover, and Zendaya has made the transition from TV star to movie actress with ease starring in Spider-Man: Homecoming this past summer, and The Greatest Showman, which hits theaters this December!
K.C. Undercover returns for the second half of season 3 on November 17, 2017 on Disney Channel.
