In case you missed it, Tom Brady has his own Facebook series called Tom vs. Time, which so far has had five episodes and depicted his unprecedented career as quarterback of the New England Patriots, and more specifically, his 2017 season.
After the Patriots lost the Super Bowl this year (spoiler!), the creator of the series has decided to take a quick pause before releasing the next episode, but it won’t be forever.
“Everyone keeps asking me about Chapter 6 of Tom vs. Time and when it’s going to be ready. The truth is we had a plan, but unconsciously, it was tied to the Pats winning the Super Bowl and, when that didn’t happen (congrats, Eagles!), I felt like we needed to pause and recalibrate,” director and filmmaker Gotham Chopra announced on Friday via Facebook.
Although the series, shows more than the wins and losses of Brady, who is considered by many to be the greatest quarterback of all time (aka the GOAT), with the Super Bowl LII loss things have shifted in the ending the series creator wants to tell. In fact, Chopra wanted to do a follow-up interview with Brady, and after getting that interview he is confident that when the next episode airs it will answer not only his questions, but the fans’ questions as well.
“As a fan, I can say I got some great closure and I hope Tom did too in just talking about it,” he concluded. “I can tell he’s burning up still on the inside. But I am also reminded why the guy is the GOAT and it’s all gonna be OK. So, Chapter 6 – Coming Soon!”
Coming soon it is! For more updates on Brady’s Tom vs. Time series click here. In the meantime, you can re-watch the first five episodes and possibly pretend the Super Bowl loss didn’t happen… unless you’re an Eagles fan, in which case, it definitely happened.
