The Warriors Decided To Cancel Practice After Everyone Went Too Hard At Steph Curry’s Birthday Party

The Golden State Warriors are slated to play the Lakers when Steph Curry officially turns 30 years old tomorrow, so he decided to kick off the festivities a little early on Monday and celebrate his birthday like normal, everyday people like himself usually do: by arriving at the party on a giant yacht.

His entrance was just the beginning of a long night of celebrating with his family, friends, and teammates— as well as to Bay Area rap legend E-40, who performed on stage while Curry housed a plate of ribs in front of him.

However, Curry was far from the only Warrior who got into it. At one point in the evening, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green found themselves in a bit of a Night at the Roxbury situation while trying to figure out who got to dance with the birthday boy’s grandma.

Even Klay Thompson got in on the fun.

I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to suggest a lot of the moves on display here were brought to you by alcohol, the proud sponsor of everyone who thinks they’re a better dancer than they actually are. As a result, it’s not exactly surprising to learn that the Warriors decided to forgo practice on Tuesday as a favor to whoever would be responsible for cleaning up the puddles of vomit that would inevitably appear on the hardwood.

Warriors just announced they canceled practice today. Everyone in recovery mode after Curry’s 30th.

How thoughtful of them.
