Man Dies After The Husband Of A Sheriff’s Deputy Puts Him In A Chokehold Outside Of A Denny’s Restaurant In Texas!

Eyewitness video shows the husband of a Texas sheriff’s deputy applying a chokehold to a man who later died. Houston attorney Jack B. Carroll played the video for reporters on Monday. He said it shows an off-duty Harris County deputy and her husband attempting to restrain 24-year-old John Hernandez outside Denny’s restaurant. The incident occurred on May 28, after the deputy’s husband arrived at the restaurant and saw a drunken Hernandez urinating outside. The man “verbally confronted Hernandez about his behavior” and the physical altercation ensued. Hernandez family members say he later died as a result of strangulation.
