“There will also be 2 trusts set up in his name, one essentially giving him the ability to collect a small ‘salary’ each year and another retirement trust which will be wisely invested by a financial planner which he will have access to in a time frame he feels comfortable with so when the time comes he can live his retirement dream of owning a piece of land and a cabin in the country,” the GoFundMe said. “A bank account will be set up for him with funds for everyday needs that will get him through until he finds a job.”
Johnny is also using the money given to him to help others. Bobbit will be “donating to a few organizations and people who over the last couple of years have helped him get through this rough patch in his life.”
Johnny was in the U.S. Marine Corps and was previously a certified paramedic, but he has been homeless for the past year. He moved to several places throughout the country and then came to Philadelphia last year after he lined up a job. However, Johnny lost his job, ran out of money, and soon found himself homeless. The 34-year-old also suffered a bad breakup with a girlfriend and had a drug addiction that caused his life to spiral out of control. He also lost his paperwork, which meant he couldn’t even get a job if he wanted to.
Johnny plans to take the test to become recertified as a paramedic in Pennsylvania or New Jersey and he hopes to get a job at the Amazon warehouse in Robbinsville, New Jersey. “He is very interested in finding a job, and I believe that with a place to be able to clean up every night and get a good night’s rest, his life can get back to being normal,” Kate wrote. Good luck to Johnny in turning his life around![Japolink]
