‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 8 Sneak Peek Reveals Return Of Fan Favorite

Hawaii Five-0 season 8 is right around the corner, but we’re still craving more teasers and hints of what’s going to happen when it returns.

Luckily, the show’s creator, Peter M. Lenkov, is more than willing to share clips from the first few episodes. His most recent tease, however, is a little cryptic than usual.

“#h50 802,” is all Lenkov wrote alongside his latest Instagram post about the crime series. It’s clear from the video that the creator is currently watching/working on episode two of the upcoming season, and three of our favorite character are back together — even if what they are talking about is mumbled.

In this clip, you can see that the dynamic duo of Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and Danny Williams (Scott Caan) is back in action and solving crimes. The third character is a major fan favorite: British secret agent, Harry Langford, played by Chris Vance.

Lenkov previously teased Vance’s return to the Hawaii Five-0 family on Twitter, and now this video confirms that come the second episode (and maybe even the first?!), he will be back. Sadly, we have no idea what his character is saying in the clip, but it just makes us that much more excited to watch the episode and find out!

Seriously, what could he be saying? Both Steve and Danny look so confused by Harry’s statement, and we can’t help but watch it over and over again just to get a good laugh.

With the return of Vance’s character and the addition of newcomers Meaghan Rath and Beulah Koale in season 8, we’re hoping the absence of Hawaii originals Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park won’t be as heartbreaking — sad yes, but not totally horrible thanks to these cast updates.

What do you think Vance’s character is saying? Who are you most excited to watch when the series returns this fall?

Hawaii Five-0 returns for its eighth season on September 29, 2017 on CBS.
