The members of One Direction continue to support each other! Ahead of Harry Styles‘ movie debut in Dunkirk, which hits theaters next week, one of his former bandmates gave him a shout out on social media, and it’s so sweet.
On Thursday (July 13), Styles stepped out in Leicester Square for the London premiere of Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, and while he hit the carpet solo, Liam Payne had him in his thoughts and sent him well wishes on Twitter.
@Harry_Styles good luck tonight mate! Sorry I can’t be there can’t wait to see you in action #DunkirkPremiere

“@Harry_Styles good luck tonight mate!” Payne tweeted. “Sorry I can’t be there can’t wait to see you in action #DunkirkPremiere.”
Payne might not have made it to the premiere in person, but this message makes our 1D loving hearts SO happy. Clearly the brotherhood formed throughout One Direction’s time together, is as strong as ever.
In fact, Styles previously told Billboard that all of his former band mates, including Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, were very supportive of his transition into acting.
“They are big fans of Chris [Nolan], too, and I think they’re excited to see it,” Styles told Billboard.
Based on this Twitter shout out, Payne is a BIG fan of Styles too, which is so awesome. Now all we need is a real-life reunion between these two singers, perhaps at a 1D viewing party, which we think Styles should definitely host. Don’t you agree?
Dunkirk hits theaters on July 21, 2017.
