‘Gilmore Girls’ Creator Weighs In On The Possibility Of More Episodes

Oy with the poodles already, Gilmore Girls could be getting more episodes!

For all you Gilmore Girls fans out there who were happy with the series’ revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, but not-so-secretly want more from Lorelai and Rory, you’re in luck, because there could be more episodes in the future… well, maybe.

During an interview with Radio Times last week, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino revealed that she’s definitely happy to make more stories for the characters from Stars Hollow, as long as Lauren Graham (aka Lorelai) and Alexis Bledel (Rory) are on board.

“We carved out a little niche for ourselves with Amazon saying that if we ever want to do it, if the girls and us get together and we have a concept that works, then we have the freedom to do it,” Sherman-Palladino told Radio Times about the possibility of more episodes from the beloved series.

While there is nothing in the works just yet, Sherman-Palladino isn’t taking the world of Gilmore Girls off the table forever. That being said it would have to be just right to get all of our favorite characters back together once again.

“It would just have to be the right circumstances….” she explained. “Because we had to repaint Stars Hollow, and we’ll have to repaint it again. But it’s definitely possible.”

Do you hear that Gilmore Girls lovers? It’s “definitely possible!” We will definitely take this answer, and hope for more Lorelai and Rory sooner rather than later.
