Eli Manning Recreates ‘Dirty Dancing’ Scene In Super Bowl Commercial

Super Bowl Sunday is all about food, team spirit, and of course football, but when it comes to the masses, most people actually tune in for the commercials. No, seriously, the commercials are always top notch!

On Sunday (Feb. 4), the New England Patriots took on the Philadelphia Eagles, but it was two New York Giants players that we can’t stop talking about. Both Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. appeared in a Super Bowl commercial this weekend, and it was too funny not to talk about.

The quarterback and receiver appeared to be at a practice when the commercial began, but it quickly turned into a Dirty Dancing moment, and we are obsessed. The two athletes decided to show off their dance skills a la Baby and Johnny, and we quickly learned that nobody puts Odell Beckham Jr. in the corner!

While Beckham Jr. might’ve been Baby (Jennifer Grey) from Dirty Dancing, Manning channeled his inner Patrick Swayze and nailed it. He had the moves, did a little hair flipping and made us believe that he was a professional dancer… sort of.

Watch the whole commercial above — which is about the NFL and “many touchdowns to come” — for yourself and let us know what you think about these two putting on their dancing shoes.

PS: “Time of My Life” will always be the song of Dirty Dancing, but maybe it’ll become the NY Giants’ theme song next season too. It might sound a little ridiculous, but based on this commercial, we think it could be the perfect fit for the football team.
