Introducing Makeapp, the app that takes a photo of your woman and removes the traces of makeup to show you the monster lurking underneath. Made by Russian founder Ashot Gabrelyanov, according to NY Mag, it’s the newest way to mess up your relationship for no reason:
The app can both remove makeup and add it on, if you really just want to see what someone would look like with more lipstick. Not only is it astoundingly sexist, it shows a remarkable lack of trust in the person you’re dating. There’s only so much makeup can really hide after all, and if you’re attracted to someone when they’re wearing blue eye shadow, let them wear the eyeshadow and call it a night. But sexism isn’t logical, it’s just petty and mean.
