Colorado Mother is Arrested After Leaving Her 2-Year-Old Son in Her Car in Below Freezing Temps Overnight

A Colorado woman was arrested after she called cops and lied about having been in an accident. Her two-year-old son was missing as well. But cops found her car in a parking lot covered in snow and not a lick of damage on it.

26-year-old Nicole Carmon had claimed to be in a car accident Friday night and cops canvased the area looking for her car and child.

She told authorities she couldn’t remember any of the details of the accident…including where it occurred. She couldn’t even remember how she got home.

When officers found her little boy the next morning, he was suffering from frostbite and hypothermia.

Temps had plummeted to roughly 23 degrees.

He was then transported to a hospital.

She’s been charged with felony child abuse.

Police are still investigating the incident.
