California Father of Two is Stabbed in Front of His Kid Because He Asked Suspects to Turn Their Music Down

HAYWARD, Calif. (KGO) —
A man was fatally stabbed inside a Target store in Hayward, California on Christmas Eve. He and his girlfriend were shopping for one last present with his two kids.

An altercation then took place inside the store between 36-year-old  Tyrone Griffin and two men who were allegedly playing vulgar music quite loudly on their cellphones in the toy section of the store. Griffin was in that store with his 4-year-old son. When he confronted the pair about the music, a fight broke out and he was stabbed.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

Two Hayward residents in their 20s were arrested for the stabbing and booked into the Hayward jail on charges of homicide.

He leaves behind the 4 year old, as well as a 5-year-old.
