Billy Eichner Announces Bad News About ‘Difficult People’

Bad news, Difficult People fans: the series will no longer be bringing the laughs.

After three seasons Billy Eichner and Julie Klausner’s comedy — which ran on Hulu — has been canceled, and Eichner is just as sad as you are about the news.

“Yes it’s true. DIFFICULT PEOPLE has come to an end,” Eichner wrote on Twitter on Tuesday, confirming the cancellation news.

The comedian played a fictional version of himself trying to be a comic who lived in New York City along with friend Klausner. Although their lives never really came together on the show, which was half the fun, off screen the two are both successful, funny, and really good friends.

Yes it’s true. DIFFICULT PEOPLE has come to an end. Thanks to many people but above all my friend, @julieklausner. A singular comedic voice & the funniest person I know. I cannot WAIT to see what Julie creates next. Thanks to all of you Difficult People out there who watched.❤
