Ben Affleck just earned some seriously cool dad points!
The Batman v. Superman star ventured across the pond this past weekend to take his daughter, Violet, to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theater.
Affleck wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance that night. Suicide Squad actress Margot Robbie and Glee alum Darren Criss also happened to be at the same performance of the play.
Criss’ attendance in particular is bound to send hardcore Potter fans’ hearts aflutter. Before he became our favorite Warbler on Glee, the actor played The Boy Who Lived in an incredibly popular viral musical aptly called A Very Potter Musical.
After, the three actors even ventured backstage where they met and took photos with the entire cast.

“@MargotRobbie, @BenAffleck and @DarrenCriss met the #CursedChild cast at the Palace Theatre,” tweeted the play.
The new Potter play takes place 19 years after the events of Deathly Hallows and follows Harry’s son, Albus Severus, through some tumultuous times at Hogwarts. Since it opened for previews at the beginning of June, the play has drawn in quite a few celebrities curious to find out how the eighth Potter story plays out, including Emma Watson, Chris Pine, and Helena Bonham Carter.
Considering the rave reviews the play has been getting since it officially opened in July, we’re not surprised celebs are making the trip to go out and see the magic unfold across the stage for themselves!
