The Golden Globe Awards celebrates its 75th show on Sunday, January 7, 2018, and we cannot wait to see what the stars decide to wear on this year’s red carpet. Ahead of the annual award show however, we’ve decided to take a trip down memory lane… fashion lane, that is.
Each year, some of your favorite stars shine on the Golden Globes red carpet, but we bet you can’t remember exactly what your most beloved celebrity wore their first time at the coveted award show. Don’t worry if you can’t, we’ve got you covered with some of the best looks from several stars’ first-ever Golden Globes carpet.
Actresses like Reese Witherspoon (who is up for a Golden Globe this year for Big Little Lies) and Emma Stone (who is both nominated this year and presenting) looked very different — well, sort of — when they first stepped onto that carpet. There’s also Meryl Streep, who has been nominated for 31 Golden Globes thus far (and won 8 in addition to being honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award in 2016), who stunned in a gold pantsuit at her first show. Emma Watson, on the other hand, rocked a dress in the front and pants in the back at her first appearance. To see our favorite first-time Golden Globes looks, just keep scrolling!
The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards airs on January 7, 2018 at 5 p.m. (PST) on NBC.
